Gwyneth Paltrow is celebrating her son Moses’ 18th birthday. The 51-year-old actress shared a picture of her son for the occasion, something she rarely does. Her son looked into the camera with a very serious expression. He wore a navy blue t-shirt.

In the caption, she wrote, “Happy 18th birthday to you, my son. I am so proud of who you are. I love your sensitivity and brilliance and quiet humor.”

She went on talking about her son, writing, “I admire how deep you go into areas that interest you, becoming an expert in synths from the 80’s and the French new wave. I love how much you love the people you love, but also how internal you are.”

She talked more of her pride and joy, concluding her post with, “There is such a magnificent world of ideas and harmonies inside that beautiful head of yours. I am unbelievably proud of the person you are today, as you cross over the threshold into adulthood. I love you more than words can say, @mosesmartin you absolutely kill me. ❤️Mama.”

She shares her son Moses and daughter Apple with ex-husband Chris Martin.

Everyone in the comments was blown away by how similar Moses looks to his father, Chris Martin. One user commented, “He looks more like Chris than Chris does.” Another added, “Mini Chris.” Another commenter wrote, “He totally looks like his Dad.” The resemblance the young man has to his father is definitely there and noticed by all! The boy looked so familiar because he shares such an uncanny resemblance to his father.

Last month, the actress opened up about how she felt about her son Moses leaving for college soon.

“In the fall, Brad [Falchuk] and I have boys that will be going off to university,” Paltrow said, referring to her son Moses and her husband’s son of her son Brody. “It’ll be interesting to see how the morning routine changes with no kids in the house.”

“On the one hand, incredible sadness. A deep sense of impending grief,” the actress shared. “On the other hand, this is exactly what should be happening.”

“Your kids are supposed to be, you know, young adults who can achieve and cope and make connections and be resilient. That’s exactly what you want. And that means they leave the house.”

She shared how she has “been so defined and so fulfilled by motherhood.”

“It’s like the guiding force. It’s what I return to. I observe a lot of my friends who’ve had kids who’ve gone off to college. Your kid…it changes. And you know, they come home a lot and all that stuff, but it’s not quite the same as living under the same roof all the days of the year. So I’m just trying to be open to what that means,” she said.
