Snoop Dogg Revealed The Only Person Who Can Out-Smoke Him

The California rapper has shared a fun fact about the only person who has ever managed to out-smoke him during his 52 years.

Snoop Dogg is celebrated for two main things: his dynamic music career, filled with collaborations with various artists, and his well-known passion for marijuana.

As one of the loudest voices for the legalization of marijuana in the U.S., Snoop is famously high almost constantly.

It was quite the revelation, then, when he confessed there was someone who could actually keep up—and even surpass him—in a smoking session.

The ‘Next Episode’ rapper told the story on live TV with Jimmy Kimmel.YouTube/Jimmy Kimmel Live

This individual turned out to be another well-known musician, a legendary figure in country music known for his iconic long hair and double-braided style into his older years.

That person is none other than Willie Nelson, who himself is renowned as one of the world’s most famous marijuana enthusiasts.

Snoop admitted he couldn’t match pace with Nelson, who is also affectionately known for his love of the ‘Devil’s Lettuce,’ during one memorable smoke-out.

Snoop shared this amusing tidbit during a 2018 episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” where the conversation turned to who would feature on a ‘Mount Rushmore’ of pot smokers.

Kimmel brought up the topic, mentioning: “Seth Rogen was here last week, and we were talking about Mount Rushmore of pot smokers, and of course, you are on, And I think that Seth is on Mt. Rushmore.

“Who would you put on that Mt. Rushmore?”

Carefully considering his answer, Snoop responded: “I would put Bob Marley.

“I would put Cheech and Chong – they were the first faces on the mountain, they’re the ones who showed us what a mountain was.”

Then he revealed his ultimate respect for Willie Nelson.

“Willie P. Nelson is definitely on there,” Snoop continued.

“And by the way, Willie Nelson is the only person who has ever out-smoked Snoop Dogg. I had to hit the ‘time out’ button.”

Kimmel inquired if he had ever needed to use that button before, to which Snoop replied: “Never, never.”

Willie Nelson himself confirmed the story in an interview with the Daily Beast, recalling: “That was over in Amsterdam!

“I called Snoop and I said, ‘Hey buddy, you gotta come over here. This is where it’s at!’

“So, he came over and we hit every bar, every smoke place in Amsterdam. We had a helluva time.”

When asked about his legendary tolerance, Willie explained: “Oh, I don’t know. There’s probably people that can out-smoke me!

“I don’t do a lot of smoking anymore. I’ve switched over to a vaporizer because it’s better on my lungs.”

Now at 91, it seems Willie Nelson has certainly enjoyed his fair share of smoke-filled adventures over the decades.
